Merchandising Project 2010
We had to create a new men's private label for Macy's. On the report we had to mention where the brand would be positioned, price points, and who would be their main competitors. We also had to create a cost sheet for the four silhouettes on the boards.
This was a group project.
Product Development Project 2009
We had to choose a private label store and re-create a Basic-Knit Top, Fashion-Knit Top, and a Print-Knit Top for next season. For the Written Report we had to research future trends, based on competitors as well as forecasting websites. We also had to explain why we thought the new items were appropriate for our customer. Finally we had to describe the items (new price, fabrication, etc.) as well as total retail dollars for the three items.
This was an individual project.
